Welcome to All County All Stars Cheerleading.
Tryouts & Expectations

Our season runs from tryouts at the end of July, with practices starting in August to our last competition mid April. Competitions are researched and determined during July and August, then financial means are determined with notices going out to families of Cheerleaders making the teams. Currently the majority of practices are Saturday mornings in Albion, NY, with some evenings prior to competition dates.

There is a level of expectation for our Cheerleaders trying out. Stars looks for individuals that show cheerleading ability with tumbling experience. Basically an approved round off is essential, or minimally a high level of cheerleading showmanship. Competition Cheerleading is all about showing off your ability without shyness, enjoying the chance to show your stuff.

Even though personal ability is quality, your ability to make your team better, your teammates part of your effort is premiere. Winning at AC Stars level is all team effort, not one Cheerleader is as important as the whole group. Our Cheerleaders are expected to dedicate and commit themselves to the Stars organization and be at every practice. Coaches coach, Cheerleaders cheer. If there are concerns with how cheerleaders are doing, it is up to coaches to make the effort to make it right, not Cheerleaders. Practices are designed to give our Cheerleaders every opportunity to become winning Cheerleader squads.

The least favorite option is the cutting of any Cheerleader. If expectations are not met, family commitments not met, more than two practices missed without good reason or any rules abused, cuts will be made. If any Cheerleader is cut, there is no refund. Interested participants should ask any questions of concerns prior to making the teams. Our organization hopes to give every family the opportunity to become involved, however there are expenses that need to be met. We keep our cost minimal, but travel can be expensive. Signing up is an agreement to support the teams and the organization.

Interested Cheerleaders should call Don Irvine with any questions.
